annoying feature in profiles

I was wondering if it would be possible just to put the most recent update in a profile telling when the person in question last updated their audio and text profiles. Right now it lists every single date that the person updated something, andit can be annoying trying to get past all that. And really, isn't it only necessary to know about the most recent update?

I'd like to see more than 1, but if it were at 5 or 10 I'd be fine with that.

I also agree. It's very tedious to have to look at all those updates. I agree there should be a change.

Hmm, i've just checked my own profile and it appears to only being showing the last 10 updates, though all of those were status changes. Perhaps there should be a combo box under account or profile settings saying something like "number of recent updates to show in user profiles:" and have options like 0, 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100. Thoughts?

I just don't get why more than the latest update is necessary.

I think it should show only the five most recent updates. Also, I think that if there is more than one update of the same kind, such as a user profile update, or a status update, I think it should show the most recent one, maybe two, but for the most part, I agree.

I think there should either be a combo box on the 'my account' page to change how many recent updates are displayed on user profiles or there should be a link on everyone's user profile called something like 'view recent updates'.

Personally I don't see why there would be the need to know anything beyond the latest update. it just seems to be usuless information that really doesn't really say much about the person in the profile.

Personally, I think the "pecent updates" thing was an attempt to try and copy the "news feed" feature on facebook, but I think it's kinda failed.
